Novell近来业绩表现不佳, 是否应该加大中国的投资不好说. 微软跟Novell的合作对微软来说: 1. 方便把其它平台的应用整合到自己的平台. 2. 消弱不合作的Redhat. 3. 提升对其它平台的友好, 减少反垄断法的影响. Red Hat focus on enterprise-level linux server and Middleware, and Novell obviously hopes to shift that and do some very big things in the desktop space.
